Aegishjalmur Raven Ring

This ring is inspired by Norse folklore and mythology. The symbol of Aegishjalmur is commonly referred to as the ‘Helm Of Awe’, and was used by the Vikings as a symbol of victory and protection, often inscribed into the helmets and shield of warriors. The eight tridents represent the protection of a centre point which is the heart, home, and mind. It was also believed to strike fear into the hearts of enemies. The two ravens on either side of Aegishjalmur are Huginn and Muninn. They are the messengers and knowledge gatherers of Odin, the Raven God, and are used to invoke his power and offer further protection and strength.
